Clear typographic contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1), semantic text alternatives for non-text content, and layout adaptation across responsive viewport sizes.
Full keyboard navigability, clear focus indicators, logical tab sequences, and avoidance of flashing or seizure-inducing animations.
Predictable navigation flows, straightforward language, clear form input labels, and descriptive validation error messages.
Clean semantic HTML5 markup compatible with modern screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) and assistive browsing technologies.
Implemented Technical Measures
Our engineering desk enforces accessibility controls across all platform updates:
- Screen Reader Optimization: Proper ARIA roles, aria-expanded states on accordions, and descriptive alternative text for all informational imagery.
- Keyboard Traversal: Every interactive link, button, input, and modal can be navigated and actuated solely using standard keyboard commands (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, Escape).
- Motion Reduction Support: Respects the operating system prefers-reduced-motion media query by disabling decorative transitions for sensitive users.
- Form Accessibility: All estimate fields have explicit HTML label bindings, descriptive helper notes, and programmatically connected error announcements.
